Fire at leave
Heyo
My schoolbus came up the hill last week, and we came into a patch of fog just at my stop, so I got out, and the fog was patchy but it seemed to only be around the estate I lived in. Kept walking down none the wiser, and seen the building just across the road to the right where their building a new house. They had lit a fire on the ground, so I thought "hm.. probably shouldn't be at that" but anyways, I left it and went into the house. It's what was causing the 'fog'. I thought of showing Jossie at that point but didn't think it was of importance to show him.
About 3-4 hours later, when they were all gone from the building site, they had left the fire burning just as it was from when I got home, keep in mind that Canada is covered in trees and all the houses on the estate (probably about 95% of them in Newfoundland) are made of wood. So we called the fire brigade and put out the fire as well, and luckily my dad knows the owner of the house. So he informed them, and showed them the above pictures. The careless contractor should of got a harsh word if the owners did the right thing. I had also showed Jossie the fire when we called the fire brigade, and he was fair intrigued by it and watched the fire until the fire crews had gone and put the fire out.
The next morning the pillar in the corner of the house was scorched black, that's what they get for leaving an open fire with plenty of fuel around, unattended. As much as I love some people being laid back while working, that's a little too laid back for my liking.
Rossie & Jossie
PS. Even though there is an acre between each house, there's still a fair amount of trees.
